At Workshop Theory, we're committed to getting your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please read our shipping policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect from the moment you place your order to the moment it arrives at your door.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states) only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or international destinations at this time.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase, followed by a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

All orders are estimated to arrive within 3–12 business days depending on the product type and your location. Please note that all estimates are in business days (Monday through Friday) and exclude weekends and public holidays. We carry two categories of products that ship differently. Please refer to the applicable category for your order below.

Standard Items (Wall panels, neon signs, hand tools, garage accessories, and similar products)

Processing time: 1–2 business days

Shipping time: 2–5 business days via standard ground (FedEx/UPS)

Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days after order is placed

Heavy Freight Items (Workbenches, rolling tool cabinets, and other large heavy equipment)

Processing time: 1–2 business days

Shipping time: 5–10 business days via freight carrier

Estimated delivery: 6–12 business days after order is placed

Freight Delivery Notice: All workbenches and heavy equipment ship via standard freight at no extra cost due to their size and weight. Standard freight does not include liftgate service. If your location does not have a forklift or equivalent equipment available for unloading, liftgate service may be available through the freight carrier — please note this may be subject to an additional charge depending on your location and carrier. Shipping Costs

Standard Items: Free shipping on all orders to the contiguous US

Freight Items: Free shipping on all orders to the contiguous US

We do not charge additional handling fees. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

Sales Tax: Orders shipped to Utah are subject to applicable state and local sales tax, automatically calculated at checkout.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking information to update in the carrier's system after you receive your confirmation email.

For freight shipments, the freight carrier may contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. Please ensure your contact information is accurate at checkout.

Delivery Delays

While we do our best to meet the estimated delivery windows above, delays can occasionally occur due to high order volumes, carrier delays, or circumstances beyond our control such as weather events or public holidays. These estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at info@workshoptheory.com and we will investigate promptly.

Damaged or Missing Items

We take great care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. However, if your order arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

For freight deliveries, note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing. Do not refuse the delivery — refusing a freight shipment may complicate your claim.

Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and product immediately upon delivery.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@workshoptheory.com with your order number and photos.

We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Lost Shipments

If your tracking information shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbors and any other household members, then contact the carrier directly with your tracking number. If the issue remains unresolved, contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date and we will assist you in filing a claim.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet shipped. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at info@workshoptheory.com. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled and our return policy will apply.
