Orders & Shipping
How long will it take to receive my order? It depends on the type of product you ordered. All orders are estimated to arrive within 3–12 business days depending on product type and your location. All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Please note that all estimates are in business days (Monday through Friday) and exclude weekends and public holidays.
For standard items such as wall panels, neon signs, hand tools, and garage accessories, delivery typically takes 2–5 business days via standard ground carrier (FedEx/UPS), for an estimated total of 3–7 business days from the time your order is placed.
For heavy freight items such as workbenches and rolling tool cabinets, delivery typically takes 5–10 business days via freight carrier, for an estimated total of 6–12 business days from the time your order is placed.
You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Will I be charged sales tax? Sales tax is automatically calculated and applied at checkout for orders shipped to Utah in accordance with state law. Orders shipped to other states are not currently subject to sales tax collection by Workshop Theory.
Do you ship nationwide? We ship to all 48 contiguous United States. We're currently unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, or APO/FPO addresses. If you're unsure whether we ship to your location, reach out to us at info@workshoptheory.com before placing your order and we'll let you know.
Do you offer free shipping? Yes — we offer free standard shipping on all orders to the 48 contiguous United States. No minimum order required, no codes needed. It's automatically applied at checkout.
Please note that free shipping covers standard freight delivery for large items. Liftgate service is not included in standard freight and is available as an additional charge if needed. See below for more details on freight delivery.
Do you ship freight for larger items? Yes. Workbenches, rolling tool cabinets, and other heavy equipment ship via standard freight carrier due to their size and weight. Standard freight is included at no extra cost.
Freight Delivery Notice: Standard freight does not include liftgate service. If your location does not have a forklift or equivalent equipment available for unloading, liftgate service can be requested — please note this is an additional charge. Please ensure your delivery setup is confirmed before placing your order. If you are unsure whether your location can accommodate freight delivery, contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to help.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations. Contact us as soon as possible at info@workshoptheory.com or (833)-660-6777. Once an order has shipped, it will be treated as a return. Check our Return Policy page for details.
Will I receive a tracking number? Yes. Once your order ships you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking information. If you haven't received it within 3 business days of placing your order, check your spam folder first then reach out to us.
For freight shipments, the freight carrier may contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. Please ensure your contact information is accurate at checkout.
What if my order is on backorder? If an item you ordered is on backorder or unavailable, we'll void the pre-authorization on your payment and contact you via email right away to discuss your options. We won't charge you for something we can't ship.
Products & Compatibility
How do I know which storage system is right for my garage? It really comes down to three things — the size of your space, what you need to store, and your budget. A good starting point is measuring your wall space and making a list of what you want to organize. If you're still not sure, reach out and we'll help you figure out the best fit.
Are your products suitable for both home and commercial garages? Yes. We carry products that work well for home hobbyists all the way up to professional workshops and commercial spaces. Each product page includes details on load capacity and recommended use so you can make an informed decision.
Can StoreWALL panels hold heavy tools and equipment? StoreWALL panels are built for serious storage. They're designed to handle significant weight loads when installed correctly on wall studs. Always follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines for maximum safety and performance.
Are the products from your brands compatible with each other? Some accessories are interchangeable across brands and some are not. We recommend sticking within the same brand's ecosystem for accessories and add-ons to ensure the best fit. If you're unsure about compatibility, just ask us before ordering.
Do your products come with installation instructions? Yes, all products include manufacturer installation instructions. Many of our brands also have installation videos available on their websites. If you run into any issues during installation, feel free to contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Can I buy replacement parts or accessories separately? In most cases, yes. Reach out to us with your product name and what you need and we'll let you know what's available.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy? We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. For full details, visit our Return Policy page.
Who pays for return shipping? Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect — in those cases we cover it.
Where do I send my return? Once your return request is approved, we'll email you the return shipping address along with your authorization. Please don't send anything back before receiving this — unauthorized returns may not be processed.
How long does a refund take? Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 1–2 business days. From there, allow 5–10 business days for it to appear in your account. Depending on your bank or payment provider it can occasionally take up to 14 business days.
My item arrived damaged. What do I do? First, take photos of the damage right away. Then email them to info@workshoptheory.com on the same day you receive the item. For freight deliveries, note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing — do not refuse the shipment as this may complicate your claim. We'll take it from there.

What brands do you carry? We are an authorized dealer for Chery Industrial, Beta Tools, E-Z Garage Storage, StoreWALL, and Neonetics. Each brand was carefully selected because of their reputation for quality, durability, and reliability in garage storage and workshop organization.
Why do you only carry certain brands? We're intentional about the brands we partner with. Every brand we carry has been vetted for product quality, manufacturer support, and customer satisfaction. We'd rather carry fewer brands we truly stand behind than stock everything and stand behind nothing.
Are you an authorized dealer for all the brands you sell? Yes, absolutely. We are an authorized dealer for every brand on our store. That means every product you purchase from us is 100% genuine, sourced directly from the manufacturer, and covered by the full manufacturer warranty.
What is Chery Industrial known for? Chery Industrial specializes in professional grade garage storage solutions including cabinets, workbenches, and tool storage systems. Their products are built for durability and designed to handle the demands of both home and commercial workshop environments.
What is StoreWALL used for? StoreWALL is a wall panel storage system designed to maximize vertical space in your garage or workshop. The panels are built to handle heavy loads and work with a wide range of hooks, shelves, and accessories to create a fully customized storage setup.

What is Neonetics known for? Neonetics specializes in neon signs, LED art, and automotive themed décor. They're a great way to add some personality and character to your garage or workshop space.
Can I shop by brand on your website? Yes. You can browse products by brand directly on our website at workshoptheory.com. If you're looking for something specific from one of our brands and can't find it, reach out and we'll help you locate it.

Do you have a physical store I can visit? We are an online store. Our mailing address is in Salt Lake City, UT, but we don't operate a retail showroom. Everything is available through workshoptheory.com.
Can I place a bulk or wholesale order? We're open to wholesale and bulk inquiries. Reach out to us at info@workshoptheory.com with details about what you're looking for and we'll get back to you.
How do I stay updated on new products and promotions? The best way is to sign up for our email list. You'll be the first to know about new arrivals, restocks, and any promotions we're running. You can unsubscribe anytime — no hard feelings.
