Price Match Policy

At Workshop Theory, we work hard to keep our prices fair and competitive. If you've seen the same product listed at a lower price from another authorized retailer, we'd love to hear about it.

Reach out to us at info@workshoptheory.com with a link to the product on the competitor's website and we'll take a look. We review each request individually and will do our best to work with you on pricing where we can.

A few things to keep in mind:

The competitor must be an authorized dealer selling the exact same product — same brand, model, and configuration.

The price comparison must include all costs — product price, shipping, and any applicable taxes.

We reserve the right to decline a price match request at our discretion.

Price match requests cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.

We do not match prices from auction sites, liquidators, or unauthorized sellers.

At Workshop Theory, we're committed to getting your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please read our shipping policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect from the moment you place your order to the moment it arrives at your door.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states) only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or international destinations at this time.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase, followed by a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

All orders are estimated to arrive within 3–12 business days depending on the product type and your location. Please note that all estimates are in business days (Monday through Friday) and exclude weekends and public holidays. We carry two categories of products that ship differently. Please refer to the applicable category for your order below.

Standard Items (Wall panels, neon signs, hand tools, garage accessories, and similar products)

Processing time: 1–2 business days

Shipping time: 2–5 business days via standard ground (FedEx/UPS)

Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days after order is placed

Heavy Freight Items (Workbenches, rolling tool cabinets, and other large heavy equipment)

Processing time: 1–2 business days

Shipping time: 5–10 business days via freight carrier

Estimated delivery: 6–12 business days after order is placed

Freight Delivery Notice: All workbenches and heavy equipment ship via standard freight at no extra cost due to their size and weight. Standard freight does not include liftgate service. If your location does not have a forklift or equivalent equipment available for unloading, liftgate service may be available through the freight carrier — please note this may be subject to an additional charge depending on your location and carrier. Shipping Costs

Standard Items: Free shipping on all orders to the contiguous US

Freight Items: Free shipping on all orders to the contiguous US

We do not charge additional handling fees. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

Sales Tax: Orders shipped to Utah are subject to applicable state and local sales tax, automatically calculated at checkout.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking information to update in the carrier's system after you receive your confirmation email.

For freight shipments, the freight carrier may contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. Please ensure your contact information is accurate at checkout.

Delivery Delays

While we do our best to meet the estimated delivery windows above, delays can occasionally occur due to high order volumes, carrier delays, or circumstances beyond our control such as weather events or public holidays. These estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at info@workshoptheory.com and we will investigate promptly.

Damaged or Missing Items

We take great care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. However, if your order arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

For freight deliveries, note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing. Do not refuse the delivery — refusing a freight shipment may complicate your claim.

Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and product immediately upon delivery.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@workshoptheory.com with your order number and photos.

We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Lost Shipments

If your tracking information shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbors and any other household members, then contact the carrier directly with your tracking number. If the issue remains unresolved, contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date and we will assist you in filing a claim.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet shipped. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at info@workshoptheory.com. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled and our return policy will apply.

We stand behind every product we sell. If something isn't right, we'll work with you to make it right — here's everything you need to know.

30-Day Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, no complicated hoops to jump through. If you've changed your mind, received the wrong item, or something arrived damaged, just reach out and we'll walk you through it.

Restocking Fees

We don't charge restocking fees — ever. If you need to return something, you shouldn't be penalized for it.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect — in those cases we cover everything including return shipping.

For heavy freight items such as workbenches and large tool cabinets, return shipping must be arranged via freight carrier. Because of the size and weight of these items, freight return costs can be significant — we recommend contacting us before initiating a return so we can help you find the most cost-effective solution.

Item Condition

Returned items must be in "like new" condition — unused, with all original packaging and accessories included. Like new means exactly that: no signs of use, wear, or damage. Items that have been used or show visible wear unfortunately won't be accepted.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If something looks off:

Note the damage when signing for delivery, or refuse the shipment if it's clearly damaged.

If you've already accepted delivery, photograph the damage and email it to info@workshoptheory.com on the same day it arrives.

Hold onto all original packaging — we'll need it for the return or claim process.

All returns must be authorized by us before being sent back. Items damaged through use after delivery are not eligible for return unless covered under a manufacturer warranty.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll send you a confirmation email and process your refund. From there, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your bank account. Depending on your payment provider, it can occasionally take up to 14 business days.

You may see your refund marked as "Pending" for up to 2 business days while the funds are processing on your bank's end — this is completely normal.

If you're past the 14-day window and still haven't seen anything, reach out and we'll look into it.

All timeframes are in business days — Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Cancellations

Need to cancel? Contact us as soon as possible.

Canceled before shipment — full refund, no questions asked.

Canceled after shipment — treated as a return, and standard return shipping costs apply.

Return Address

Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, we'll send you the return shipping address along with your authorization confirmation. Please do not send any items back before receiving this information, as returns sent without prior authorization may not be processed.

A Few Extra Things to Know:

Some brands or products may have specific return restrictions.

Certified pre-owned or used items are not eligible for return.

Items purchased for temporary use, trade shows, events, or promotional purposes are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

Warranty Information

At Workshop Theory, we are an authorized dealer for all brands we carry. Each brand backs their products with their own manufacturer warranty. Below is a summary of warranty coverage for each brand we sell.

Chery Industrial 5-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty applies to the original purchaser under normal use conditions. For warranty claims, contact us at info@workshoptheory.com and we will assist you in working with the manufacturer.

Beta Tools Beta Tools products are backed by the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by product. For specific warranty details or to initiate a claim, contact us at info@workshoptheory.com and we will connect you with the appropriate support.

StoreWALL 10-Year Limited Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials from the date of sale. Warranty applies to the first end-user only and does not transfer. Products must be used as intended and installed correctly. Damage from improper installation, modification, or use with non-StoreWALL accessories voids the warranty. E-Z Garage Storage Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and does not transfer. Does not cover damage from improper installation, overloading, commercial use, or misuse. For claims, contact us at info@workshoptheory.com.

Neonetics Neonetics products are backed by a 6-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Neon products must be handled with care as glass tubing is fragile and physical damage is not covered. For warranty claims, contact us at info@workshoptheory.com.

General Warranty Terms

Workshop Theory is an authorized dealer - all products are 100% genuine and sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Warranty claims must be initiated by contacting us directly at info@workshoptheory.com or (833)-660-6777.

We will work with you and the manufacturer to resolve any valid warranty claim as quickly as possible.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, overloading, normal wear and tear, or commercial use where not specified.

Proof of purchase from Workshop Theory is required for all warranty claims.
